Weim puppy response to E.H.?
ok so not sure why i am even responding to your editing on your answer weither i should even get a weim at all. Your right you dont know me. And yes my 2 year old it very smart for her age. But making a sarcastic remark about her bing "gifted" is uncalled for. And I dont know why you are trying to make this breed sound so horrible.

*You have not mentioned if you have a fenced yard (HIGHLY recommended – 6 ft. solid fence for Weims).
–Yes the back yard is fenced in
*Will you crate-train?
–yes
*Will you OBEDIENCE train, in a formal class setting?
–of course
**Do you have TIME for the Exercise & the Training?
–Every morning and night. I go for a run in mornings. And my husband runs at night for extra PT training.
* Do you know how to SOCIALIZE a dog?
–i hope ive read enought to know..if not i will learn fast wont i
*How will you handle other children visiting or playing in your yard (if you get a dog)?
–completely depends on the attitude of my weim, every dog is different
* HOW will you adequately exercise the Weimaraner? They are a 10 in most cases – as to NEED of exercise. They won’t get it in the yard & won’t get enough from a "walk". They will run the legs OFF, most Labs. (I bet you have not owned or rescued ANY breed as active as a Weim.)

I’m sorry but you do NOT seem realistic. You home is far from IDEAL for this breed & your child is VERY young for ANY dog. Having rescued 100s of dogs (esp Weims) I do KNOW what we see over & over.)
–how does my home not seam fit to have a weimaraner? You dont know me or anything about my lifestyle. My question was simply male or female puppy. And I have choosen a male. I hope these answers are up too your standard. And i did choose to go with a male. Thankyou
p.s. as far as my cats go i hope it goes smoothly introdusing them to our new puppy I have read several different methods on how to do this. Yes i know that they are hunters. But a little fyi you didnt know about me is that so am I. Did you think i wanted a pointer just to say i have one? And cats have hair not fur.
