question about potty training cats and dogs?

well I have 1 kitten that is potty trained by the first time he came to our house we took him to the place where he had to pee.and then he started peeing there but what about puppies? do you do the sme thing?

    Kittens are easier to train than dogs. You have to watch the puppy and when you see it needs to go, take it out side fast then praise him lots. Never hit him for making a boo boo, that will just make him scared of you. And he will learn to hide to do his duties.
